American Airlines Review

I hope I never have to fly American Airlines ever again.. They used to not be so bad but, they have gone down so much in the past few years. I think the last time I flew with American Airlines might have been (2013 or could of been before). I would give American Airlines a 2/10

The flight to LAX (Los Angeles Airport) wasn't too bad aside from the small seats and first class looking like a joke. (Thankfully, I went coach and didn't have to shell out money.) The flight attendants on the first flight were nice and the first flight had plenty of food/snack options. 

The problem with American Airlines started on the flight back from LAX. The American Airline workers weren't very friendly or had great customer service. We tried getting a wheel chair for one of our traveling companions. We waited about fifteen minutes for a wheel chair and the guy who was supposed to help us with luggage disappeared on us. (It got bad were we had to help carry a ton of luggage while making sure this person was okay.) 

Once we got to TSA we finally got help with a wheel chair but, that was a disaster because the workers started yelling when one bag was still stuck and I couldn't grab my laptop since my bag was nowhere to be seen since it went through the machine last. After we finished with TSA we were taken to our gate where the American Airlines associate took away the wheel chair and told us we would get another one when we went to board. (That never happened despite asking the gate people multiple times.) We ended up having to board the plane without a wheel chair.  (The ticket had on their about how the person needed a wheelchair and a worker even saw that.)

Once we boarded our flight they had not enough snacks for people on board and no meals for purchase. This was a non-stop five hour flight with no food. Thankfully, I ate before boarding or else I would of been without food. Then the flight attendants were rude, yelling at the person next to me for asking for a snack when he tried to before she ignored him while walking away. She also yelled at the wheel chair person I had with me about a snack that the lady forgot to bring her.

If you can avoid flying  with American Airlines. I have never been so disappointed in an airline before. I have traveled plenty of times in the past. (Washington, Texas, Australia,Georgia etc) 

Netflix must watch for July/August 2018

Welcome to my second must watch on Netflix blog post. This is the shows and movies I have been binge watching during the month of July 2018 and what to watch in August since I uploaded it towards the end of July and I will be busy August 10-21st and won't have time to watch Netflix.

Jurassic Park  

I used to watch Jurassic Park a lot as a child because my brother was big on dinosaurs. It is a classic and such a great movie from the 90's. I haven't seen the newest one out in theaters yet but, I hope to sometime soon.  Jurassic Park is a great dinosaur film, I' m not sure I'd let young children watch it since some scenes can be a bit scary. (I watched it at a young age and survived).  It is no Land before time and could give young children nightmares but, it is worth watching if you are older.  I'm also watching it in honor of the ride going away in California. 

The Originals Season 5 (August 9th)

I haven't watched The Originals Season 5 yet but, when they drop on Netflix I am always binge watching the latest season. I will be watching it a little bit after it drops because I will be busy from August 10-21st. If you haven't seen The Originals or haven't caught up. I recommend watching this series. I wasn't big on The Vampire Dairies but, I am hooked on The Originals. The Originals is a series about a family of vampires who are the first vampires to be created. They are a family with tight bonds with a disturbing history.

Shameless (season 8 drops July 28th)

This show is inappropriate for younger children (18&under). It is based off the U.K. soap opera that is named Shameless. The U.S. version has less soap opera drama compared to the original but, it still has some. (Teenage sex,drinking,family drama etc). This is my guilty pleasure show and I love it more than the original which usually I prefer the U.K. one first (I.E Skins, being Human etc). Shameless is about the oldest daughter who is raising her younger siblings while her father is out drinking and her mother doing who knows what. Fiona, the eldest finds interest in a guy and brings him around the family. The oldest boy, Lip; gets himself into a lot of trouble and is very promiscuous.

Netflix must watch in June

This blog post will be about my must watch netflix shows in June! If you spend time binge watching Netflix everyday, you might have already finished some of these or maybe one of these shows on my list will be brand new to you.

Thor Ragnarok 

I am a big marvel fan with the Thor series being the first I fell in love with. The third Thor movie has a good mix of humor and drama. The third is my favorite Thor movie so far.  I used to have Thorsday with my dog where we would watch Thor every Thursday until the second one came out and we would alternate between the two. Once life got a little busy, Thorsday ended up on the back burner. 

Thor Ragnarok is the third movie in the Thor series that follows Thor and Loki on a journey with lost and finding out about the all powerful Hela. Thor ends up on the other side of the universe put up against the Hulk in a battle. 

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

I haven't personally watched this movie yet but, it will be on my to watch list. This is one of Heath Ledger's last films. I have grown up impressed with his acting skills and have watch many of his films (including, 10 Things I hate about you, Candy and The Dark Knight to name a few).

 The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is about Doctor Parnassus Theater troupe including a sleight of hands; Anton, confidant Percy and Doctor Parnassus's Daughter. Once the troupe becomes in contact with a disgrace philanthropist named Tony (played by Heath Ledger until his death), he convinces them to change their act into something more modern.

The Punisher season 1 

This is the newest TV series I have started on Netflix recently. I have been hooked since episode one. I'm a big fan of Marvel even watching their TV shows not just movies.

The Punisher is about a guy named Frank who is a vigilante that fights the criminal world in anyway even brutal punishment. Frank has a past like most of the vigilantes or heroes from the marvel universe.

Coco

This movie is my son's favorite and has been on my watchlist constantly. It is sad but, such a really good movie even after seeing it a million times.

Coco is about a young boy Miguel who learns about his family and fights to be able to play music which he loves. He ends up having an adventure during The Day of The Dead.

Cherish Voxbox from Influenster!!

Now onto the good stuff!! 

This is what came inside my Voxbox minus the dog toy because my dog saw it... Now she wont let me touch it again. My first impression when I opened my Cherish Voxbox was intense excitement because I noticed my favorite item the Pantene Pro-V! 

Mott's juice (MSRP $3.49)- 4/5 

I love the brand Mott's for apple juice and was excited that it was included in my voxbox. The flavor I received was Apple Raspberry. I am not a big fan of Raspberry so, I am letting my son try this juice. He isn't as picky when it comes to his juice. I'm rating it a 4 out of 5 because I know the brand is good but, I'm not big on the flavor. 

Vera Wang Embrace (MSRP $29.99) -3/5  

I am not personally a fan of this perfume sample. I will say I am glad it doesn't have a strong old lady smell like some of the other samples I have gotten in the past from magazines. My got to perfumes are usually Hard Candy or Adidas, so this is a bit flowery with a hint of strong. It isn't as sweet smelling as I would like. I rated it a 3 out of 5 because it doesn't smell too bad but, I can't see myself buying it. If I was gifted it I would wear it but, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. 

Dove Men+Care (MSRP $5.99) - No rating (Male product)

As I am not a male, I will refrain from giving it a personal rating. This product doesn't smell bad and I wouldn't mind if a guy I met or knew wore it. It isn't as strong as Axe which is nice. It is supposed to last 48 hours. I'm not a big fan of the 48 hours, because sometimes people think that is an excuse not to have to shower. Please even if the product is a 24 hour or 48 hour antiperspirant please still shower. No antiperspirant can mask the smell of stink. This product also states that it prevents yellow stains and anti white marks. 

Pantene Pro-V Foam conditioner (MSRP 6.99) - 5/5

I have to say I LOVE this conditioner! I don't have to use as much as a normal bottle of conditioner and the foam makes it come out easily. I rated this a 5 out of 5 because I can't see no wrong with this product. I love Pantene Pro-V and I love foam hair products. 

BarkBox Toy (MSRP $10-$18)- 4.5/5 

Even though I am not a dog, I rated this product because of how much my dog loves it. As soon as she saw it in my Voxbox, she knew it was for her. I love that the toy they chose for her is a squeak toy with a rope. She is a big fan of rope toys. I rated this a 5 out of 5 because it is perfect!
